About Cherry Hill Knights

Over 50 years and Counting

History

Founded in 1970, we are one of the longest running youth football organizations in South Jersey serving Cherry Hill and the surrounding areas. It is the goal of the Cherry Hill Youth Football League to provide a safe and secure environment for our youth athletes to learn and play the game of football. Whether you are a coach, board member, parent, or athlete it is the goal of the organization to  instill and follow the core beliefs such as sportsmanship, work ethic, teamwork, and a sense of pride in the community they live in.

Community

Over the years the organization could not have flourished without the generous support of our community, and our dedicated volunteers. As the sport of football continues to evolve year after year we have dedicated our time to ensure that the organizations new structure improves our program from top to bottom. As we enter our 51st season we hope to remain a premier place for young athletes to grow and flourish and maintain a firm fixture in the community for the next 50 years.

Cheerleading

For years Cherry Hill Youth Football had the full support of Cherry Hill Youth Cheerleading who was also a competitive program competing in many competitions across the United States. Due to reasons outside of Cheerleading control, the program had to fold in 2017. In 2021, a new Knights board was formed. All members on the new board understand what cheerleading means to the game of football. We believe that football is for the family. We want all children to have an opportunity to participate in the Knights Organization. So, for 2022, Knights Youth Cheerleading is back. We hope to have participants ranging from 1st grade through 8th grade. We plan to have all cheerleaders practicing and performing on Saturdays just like the players.

League

We are currently members of the South Jersey Independent Youth Football Association and our teams compete against other organizations from across South Jersey.
